Website Design
Since 1998, KCN Solutions has developed a distinguished record of creating fully customized website designs and development for a diverse portfolio of clients and requirements. Electronic Commerce
KCN Solutions has developed a multitude of electronic commerce projects, including engineering, migration and administration of large scale (1000+ tickets per month) e-commerce websites. Many of the projects also involved integrating customized solutions into existing user applications and products, such as iMIS Membership systems, Crystal Reports reporting, customized Access reporting, and financial/accounting business processes.

Content Management Systems
KCN Solutions has been tasked with the implementation and customization of a 5000+ document content management system that is utilized for internal workflow management/collaboration, a public search engine/portal, and as a storage system for business data capable of being delivered dynamically via the Internet.

Existing Website Redevelopments
The project focused on the engineering, migration process development, and development of admininistration tools for a large (1000+ page) dynamically generated website. Previously, the site had been developed utilizing static content and a framed navigation system. This made content addition and look and feel changes difficult to implement. Furthermore, all functionality needed to be re-developed, improved upon, and with administrative functions for non-web personnel. The solution was based on a templated, customised page delivery and formatting system that allows for the rapid re-tooling of the end user look and feel with the ability to quickly create/migrate new site areas into the standardized look and feel.

Integration of Multiple Systems & Websites
The need to integrate several legacy systems under a common branding, along with the capability of providing simultaneous login/authentication across multiple websites was solved by developing a single login point for websites across the enterprise. This login point was then capable of automatically pre-authenticating a qualified user to other, secured sites automatically, which then allowed seamless navigation of all enterprise web resources.

Database Architecture/Management
The need to modify off-the-shelf, ODBC-based applications, and to develop custom, secure ODBC data sources for e-commerce and sensitive information storage led to the development and creation of management tools by KCN Solutions based on industry standard ODBC enterprise-class databases. To comply with requirements set by merchant service providers and credit companies, database design and security policies adhered to strict guidelines in both the database and the referencing of information by outside applications.

Bulk Electronic Mailing Administration/Execution
Tasked with providing effective bulk-mailing creation, management, training and sending processes, KCN Solutions was able to effectively eliminate the reliance on outside companies for the sending and marketing of bulk electronic mailings.
